Key Takeaways

  • Agent Blazer Ladder: Salesforce created a three-stage certification path—Champion for AI literacy, Innovator for deploying use cases, and Legend for optimizing ROI—to move learners from basic terminology to measurable business impact through iterative agent deployment.
  • E360 Adoption Dashboard: Leaders access real-time dashboards showing which approved AI tools each team member uses and how frequently, enabling identification of adoption gaps by individual name and determining whether low usage stems from lack of willingness, ability, or knowledge.
  • Learning Agent Architecture: Trailhead deployed an AI sidekick that explains concepts in different modalities, quizzes learners on content mastery, and experiments with show-me functionality where agents take over screens to demonstrate tasks, requiring multiple iterations to optimize grounding data and corpus size.
  • Zero Copy Data Integration: Salesforce Data Cloud connects to customer data in Snowflake and other repositories without requiring data migration, eliminating the primary blocker preventing enterprises from building agents and enabling conversational workflows while maintaining existing data architecture.

Meredith Brown, GM of Trailhead at Salesforce, explains how the company trains 10 million learners through a three-tier Agent Blazer curriculum, deploys learning agents, and measures AI adoption across 100% of employees using dashboards.

The number one thing that we hear from our learners, which is our customers, is they wanna get hands on. They're like, I do not wanna just read this thing. I wanna actually go in and build it myself. We have this concept of customer zero. So we saw an opportunity to deploy an agent on our learning platform. So we kind of thought of this agent as kind of like our sidekick. We're also experimenting from an agentic perspective is this notion of show me. You know, if I do get stuck, can you take over the screen, and can you show me how you did it? Yes. You can hire for those tangible skills, right, the AI native, and you can supplement your workforce in that way, and that's great. But you also need the business skills. It is very conversational, and it's very AI first. So that's probably the first tenant of an Adjantic enterprise. The second one is Hey. This is Carlos' AI voice clone. He is the CEO of Product School and the host of the Product Podcast. Today's episode is all about one thing, training to drive real AI adoption. Not pilots, not hype, but usage that moves the numbers. Our guest is Meredith Brown, GM of Trailhead and community at Salesforce and a product leader at heart. She's treating Trailhead like a product with a single North Star, help customers ship AI and prove ROI. Salesforce is shipping fast. Agent Force for autonomous agents, agent blazer paths to upscale whole companies from basics to real use cases, and a Trailhead learning agent that personalizes lessons, quizzes mastery, and speeds time to value. On data, zero copy lets teams use Snowflake and other sources without moving data, eliminating a major AI blocker. In this conversation, Meredith shares the following. First, how to segment AI training by role and journey so adoption sticks. Then what it takes to become an agentic enterprise, conversational workflows, augmented teams, and trusted data. Finally, the agent laser ladder, from champion to innovator to legend, and how to measure impact beyond certificates. If you're a product executive tasked with making AI real this year, this one's your playbook. Let's dive in. Welcome to the product podcast, Meredith. Thanks for having me. So you are a Salesforce boomerang. Right? Yep. Mhmm. And I've been back at Salesforce for six months now. And before that, I see that you spent over eight years. Mhmm. I had several different products roles at Salesforce. So I worked on our core CRM product. I worked in our marketing cloud product. And then I left for three years, and then I came back to do something that I was really passionate about, which is our internal learning platform. It's where we scale up all of our community, our employees, not only just on product skills, but also professional skills as well. And with everything happening with AI, I just really wanted to be part of that …
