Key Takeaways

  • Organic-First Ad Testing: Before spending any paid media budget on Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok, post the creative organically first. If it outperforms your typical view count, only then run paid media behind it. This eliminates wasted ad spend on content that lacks audience resonance, using the algorithm as a free conversion predictor.
  • Interest Media Shift: Social platforms no longer distribute content based on follower relationships — they serve content based on current user interests. This means a brand-new account with zero followers can outperform an established account; a first post on a new TikTok account reached 8.2 million views versus 300,000 on a 15-million-follower account.
  • Content Mix Ratio: Posting only promotional "buy from me" content fails because audiences disengage from predictable patterns. Mix value-delivery posts — free tips, diagnostic guidance, common mistakes — with direct offers. Teaching audiences how to self-identify and address problems builds trust-based karma that converts to clients more reliably than direct solicitation alone.
  • AI Search Indexing as Future Lead Gen: Every piece of social content published today gets indexed by AI systems like ChatGPT and Perplexity, which are replacing Google search. Businesses that build consistent content libraries now will appear in AI-generated recommendations when users ask for service providers in four to five years, making current content output a long-term acquisition asset.
  • Substack for Non-Video Creators: Practitioners uncomfortable on camera but confident in writing should invest five to ten hours researching Substack, a paid newsletter platform. Charging subscribers $3.99–$9.99 monthly for written clinical insights, tips, and protocols creates a recurring revenue stream and functions as a lead generation funnel into the core practice without requiring video production.

What It Covers

Gary Vaynerchuk addresses a chiropractic/wellness audience on two parallel strategies for business growth: leveraging AI-era content creation across social platforms to build an indexable brand before AI search dominates client acquisition, and simultaneously reviving direct personal outreach to former clients using old-school communication methods.

Notable Moment

Vaynerchuk revealed that Google search has become functionally obsolete for him personally — he has gone nearly a full year without a single traditional Google search, relying entirely on AI tools instead. He compared Google AdWords' current trajectory directly to the Yellow Pages in 2001: still generating some returns, but in irreversible decline.

Episode Transcript

The days of taking and making a video or an ad or a picture and running media on Facebook or Instagram or TikTok to get clients are over. Meaning, you should always post every piece of content you make for a sale or an ad organically first. If it does well in views compared to your norm, that's what you start running media on. Many of you are wasting a lot of money on social because the ad, the creative, the video or the picture isn't something that will convert well. You can now mitigate that risk by posting it organically and getting a sense if it's a good piece of content because it cannot get views unless the creative is relevant. This is the Gary Vee audio experience. This real serious AI phenomenon that is gonna change the course of every single person's life in here. This is not just about our businesses. I mean to give you context, there are many people in this room whose grandchildren are going to marry an AI robot. I'm serious. You know, you think we fight about race and religion, about marriage? Wait till you see kids marrying robots. You're gonna really be fucked up by that. But we'll get to that a little bit later. Friends, when I think about this theme being prepared for the moment, the reason I started with a little bit of an AI thing is everybody here is on a different journey in their careers and where they are. Speaking on the AI thing, touching on the fact that 60% of you were here last year, what I pounded and what, on the flip side, on the joke I made, so many of you have DM'd me and emailed me or texted me in the last year that you actually did do something about it. Many of you have started that podcast or started making more content, and you can't imagine how that makes me feel in my heart knowing people have actually acted on the advice and Actually to that point just so the new people know, like how many people actually did do something about it and felt a positive impact on their business? Please make some noise. As you can see, not enough. And I'm being serious about that, not enough. I hope you're enjoying the podcast right now. Make sure you follow the podcast that's why I'm interrupting. Let's keep going on this show but follow the podcast. It'll make my mom super happy. We are all fighting for attention of a human being to then do the thing that you want them to do. And attention moved. People live their careers on television when that had all the attention. We now live in a world that is incredibly fragmented and I think we all know that. In fact, this morning one thing I'd like for the people that are little further along in their journey of making content for their business, …
