And today, I'm joined by, well, actually, a lot of change and a few surprises. So I'm really excited to share some new things with you all. And the first of which is I'm bringing on a new cohost, Sally Hall. Welcome, Sally. Hi. Thank you. I'm excited to be here. For those been listening to the show for the last few months. You may remember Sally from her episode on paper data structures. Yeah. I really enjoyed that conversation. I feel like we could have talked for several more hours about it. Definitely. It's one of those things where it's like it starts off as, I guess, the nearest thing it could be to a water cooler conversation in our sort of remote world, some, like, random thread in Slack. Yep. And we're like, you know what? That needs to be a we need to have this conversation on air because this is just so much fun. And I'm so glad we did because then we got to dive into more of, like, some of the library science side of things and really saw how organizing information for retrieval versus insertion are not necessarily digital problems or things that have existed for a long time. Yeah. I think as we improve technology, we rarely introduce new problems or get entirely rid of them. They just change. Like, a three d printer doesn't jam less than a two d printer. It just jams in three dimensions. Oh, that's horrifying. Sorry. So, Sally, why don't you introduce yourself a little bit to the audience of our show? Tell us a little bit about what your role is here at Thoughtbot, the kinda projects you work on, the things that you get excited about in tech. So I'm Sally. I live in Durham, North Carolina, so it is pretty warm here right now. I am a senior developer at Thoughtbot. I do a lot of Ruby on Rails and tend to lean more towards the back end than the front end. I would much rather write SQL than CSS. I've always respected front end work, and now I'm starting to understand it quite a bit better and …
