656: Onboarding Woes, Coloring Links, and AI Slop Theories

Hey there. Shopomania. So I listened to another episode of the Shop Talk Show podcast all about front end web design development. And we have a YouTube now. I guess we should say that. We've been posting some videos up to our YouTube here. Right, Chris? We we're we're doing Yeah. Exactly. Chris Enns has been has been working on that, and it's kinda thanks to some of the technology in Riverside as well that makes this easier. I mean, I'm looking at Dave's face right now as we record this. You know? We might as well be in the same room, but we're not but for the power of the Internet. And, you know, we just flipped the switch on in Riverside that says, hey. Why don't you capture the video too? Why not? Mhmm. I can't promise that it's gonna be, like, a thousand x interesting YouTube video, but YouTube is so big that I you know? And we heard from people directly that are like, I would I would listen on YouTube if I could. I think people have their own YouTube flows or whatever they do. They just vibe with YouTube, and I thought, you know, why not publish there too? It's just another publishing target. And if it doesn't cost us that much more money and time to to drop it off there as well, hey. Why not? Let's do it. It also gives us the opportunity to do little shorts and stuff. Shorts are just kinda fun, and, certainly, a lot of people, vibe with those things. You know? Whatever you're in the bathroom and flipping through shorts makes sense to me. You know? Somebody told me my head was big, so I changed my camera. So that's cool. That's Oh, I see. Oh, that's what it really is. There's gonna be a lot more people seeing your face. So you're So I'm like, oh, man. I might have to, like, comb my hair and, you know? Yeah. Fair enough. Few things. I guess we'll share a screen here and there as well if it is, like, obviously powerful to the to what we're showing. I don't know. Yeah. Instead of mouth blogging things, you could catch it up later. Yeah. We're gonna make sure that we don't, like, harm the the audio version of the show. Certainly, that's what I listen to. So The audios are primary. So but hey.
